Kristin

Kristin

President

They say success is where preparation and opportunity meet. Kristin finds happiness using her experience to help others be prepared for those opportunities and achieve success. She not only makes others feel like they want to become better, but she shows them how.

Having more than 20 years experience in accounting means she has seen almost everything. Her positions of bank VP, CFO and CPA firm accountant have given her the experience to help others be ready for opportunity. She yearns to help business owners understand what their financials are telling them, no matter what their level of accounting knowledge may be.  With accounting it is through improving the accuracy of the financials and making projections of cash flow and net income. This allows clients to see exactly where they are and what they are headed for. Her experience coupled with the opportunities of her clients will help them be successful.

Her passions are health and nutrition. Through health and nutrition she has been able to show people how to improve their lives, achieve their goals such as fighting cancers and diseases, to increasing energy and weight loss. She feels successful by sharing with others her knowledge and experience, allowing them to become successful themselves. Her hobbies include Go-kart racing, biking, and running.

David

David

Vice President

Growing up, David never planned on following in his father’s footsteps of being a CPA. He loved numbers but he also loved cooking, which led to his job as a chef at Vivace, an Italian restaurant. Working evenings and weekends soon made him realize he was not spending any time with family or friends. That’s when he decided to return to accounting. He continued learning and experiencing different facets of accounting both through his MBA degree at Utah State University and through a progressive increase in responsibility on the job. He was hired at a $4 million company that had no accounting controls or accurate reports. He left it an $11 million company that had comprehensive accounting controls and not only accurate but timely financials reports, allowing the owners to really understand where they were and where they were headed instead of just having a gut feel.

Numbers alone would not satisfy David. One of the things he loved about cooking was the sense of accomplishment he felt when others enjoyed a great dish he had prepared. He found a way to transfer this sense of accomplishment into the accounting world. Now he not only prepares the financials for owners to look at, but he helps them understand what the financials mean and what the projections hold so they can enjoy the good times and know when to make changes for the hard times.

Helping business owners obtain and understand their correct and timely financial information is why David helped found Number Crunchers. That is the reason Number Crunchers exists.

Julie

Julie

Accounting Consultant

Running 13.1 miles up and down the steep streets of Seattle, or through the desert conditions of Phoenix is something most people would shy away from. Julie thrives on that type of challenge. She not only pushes herself to accomplish her running goals but motivates others along the way. Her can do attitude is contagious and her ability to set and achieve goals is inspirational. Since joining the Number Crunchers team in 2009 she has brought those same attributes to the company and its clients. Her determination to help clients improve the accuracy of their financial records and establish best practices is evident in all her interactions. From entering an entire years worth of transactions in a few days, to helping a client keep their accounting records up to date, she has the drive to conquer challenges that come her way. Not only does she conquer them, but she has fun doing it and the lucky ones get to work with her during the process.

Setting goals, tracking progress, and streamlining processes to achieve those goals has made Julie a valuable asset to the clients she works with. Her approachable personality encourages anyone from the president of a company to a bookkeeper in training to ask any question and get an informative and helpful answer. This combination allows people she works with to feel they have a helpful friend on their side no matter what the challenge is.

Tracy

Tracy

Accounting Consultant

Tracy was born and raised in a close-knit family that spent most of their time between Alaska and Montana. As a daughter of a construction worker, her family moved frequently to wherever the next project took them. In the 1980’s a job brought Tracy’s family to Washington, where they have remained ever since.

Tracy’s first jobs were working in the office of those construction jobs and this is where her passion for “number crunching” started. Working construction jobs has benefited Tracy’s career as each job was unique and required different accounting needs based on union contracts, regulations, and budgets. Each new construction project expanded Tracy’s expertise of accounting administration, which has allowed Tracy to be successful outside of the construction industry as well.

You wouldn’t believe it just by looking at her, but Tracy is an adrenaline junkie. From zip lining to sky diving, Tracy has stood toe-to-toe with fear and whispered, “Not today death... Not today!” She will try (almost) anything once. She wasn’t always so daring but she realized one day that life is worth living to the fullest and she isn’t going to let fear get in her way of living her best life.

Tracy also participates in several fun runs every year, enjoys watching sports, and above all else, enjoys spending time with family and friends.

She also spent four years as an accountant for a large childcare provider that gave her an opportunity to learn both non-profit and governmental accounting. As a 5th generation co-owner of a 126-year-old black angus cattle ranch, Jenni also has a passion for helping family businesses succeed and grow. She is also a 4th generation co-owner of a 76-year-old manufacturing business, where she currently serves as chair of their board of directors. Jenni is dependable, honest, and a strong communicator.

When not crunching numbers or helping her family businesses continue to thrive, Jenni enjoys sports, fishing, and sewing. She also loves to spend time with her family, which includes her husband, and three boys. As a mom of twins, there is nothing she can’t handle!
